Victor Jose Santana holds a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in restorative justice through youth leadership development and trauma awareness from Lesley University. He has also studied educational neuroscience and the neurology of trauma. Victor Jose has worked across the United States and collaborated internationally on training individuals, schools, organizations in trauma awareness, resilience, restorative justice practice and violence prevention. Currently, Victor Jose leads his own consulting company (VJS Consulting) and is the Director of the Defending Childhood Initiative at the Boston Public Health Commission's Division of Violence Prevention where he works on training, policy, technical assistance and supporting people, systems and institutions that work with children and families exposed to violence.
