Naiomi Lundman is curating the growing Humanitarian Makers (HM) community of makers, designers, engineers and humanitarians to support hardware issues surrounding humanitarian response. HM is incubated in Field Ready, a nonprofit focused on hyperlocal manufacturing. Naiomi is focused on advancing the development of effective solutions to local and global challenges, especially those related to health and economic well-being. She has over 15 years of experience spanning multiple industries (financial, healthcare, agribusiness, hospitality, consulting) and cultures with a common vein of designing, implementing and managing initiatives aimed at creating value for clients. About 6 of those years were working in the healthcare development context of Kenya on livelihood and enterprise initiatives. She has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and comes from a family of inventors and makers and enjoys making herself.
