Fernan Federici
Fernán has a Bachelor and a PhD degree in Biological Sciences. He holds a Research Fellow position at OpenPlant Centre for Synthetic Biology - University of Cambridge and an Assistant Professor position at the School of Biology at PUC. His interests are on Morphogenesis, Bioengineering, and Open Source Technologies. Some of his projects are focused on generating low cost and open source resources for research and education in biology and bioengineering. He is one of the co-organizers of TECNOx, a Latin American community supported by UNESCO that explores the use of open source technologies for social development. He is also a member of GOSH (Gathering for Open Science Hardware), a diverse global community working to enhance the sharing of open scientific technologies.More info at:
