Managing a Fab Lab is a lot of work. Every lab develops its own practices and many repeat the same mistakes. As Fab Labs are scaling from 1,000 to 1,000,000 in the coming years it is crucial to learn from each other so that this movement has a lasting effect on society.
We want to share know-how and exchange best practices of running a Fab Lab. Furthermore, we present Fabman, a cloud-based tool we developed at Happylab to reduce the work load on lab managers and increase safety.
See how the system works and get access to the cloud. For the workshop, we will work together with Jens Dyvik and show how to integrate his self-built Open Source machine into Fabman.
