Poppy is an open robotics platform for creators, which is easy to program, easy to build and easy to hack. It uses customizable 3d printed and laser cut parts, and commonly available hardware (raspberry pi and lego rivets). This allows you to focus on what you want (software, hardware, design). It is backed by a big community and has already been tested in education, science and art. In this workshop you will learn to use and create with the Poppy platform. Using Poppy Ergo Jr robots, you will first be introduced to the platform and the Snap! programming tool. Then you will brainstorm project ideas using the robots and other materials (including 3d printing), and then plan and prototype your project. On the second day you will execute your design with the help of the Poppy team.
